Ice Age: Collision Course is a 2016 American computer-animated comedy film and the fifth installment in the Ice Age franchise. It was directed by Mike Thurmeier and Galen T. To save themselves, Manny, Sid, Diego and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest to find a new place to live. Along the way, they encounter new characters and challenges, such as a family of dromaeosaurs, a spiritual leader named Shangri Llama and a magnetic land called Geotopia.

The film was released in theaters on July 22, 2016 by 20th Century Fox. It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the animation, humor and voice acting, but criticized the story, characters and lack of originality. It grossed $408 million worldwide against a budget of $105 million.
